Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated all of the devotees on the event of opening of doorways. The method of opening the doorways of Badrinath Dham began at 4 am within the Brahma Muhurta. Amidst mild rain, the normal music and dance of native girls to the tune of military band and drums enthralled the devotees.
First Kuber ji, Uddhav ji and Gadu Ghada have been introduced into the temple premises from the south gate, then the presence of the chief priest of the temple Rawal Ishwar Prasad Namboodiri and different officers, temple committee chairman Ajendra Ajay, Chamoli District Justice of the Peace Himanshu Khurana, pilgrimage clergymen and devotees. The doorways of the temple have been opened with rituals.
