4 non-public company staff arrested for embezzling Rs 1,59,82,000 from financial institution ATMs The arrested are NT Shibu (31), a Muslim League activist and a member of the primary ward of Urakam panchayat, MP Sasidharan (32), a resident of Kodur Chattiparambu, MT Mahith (33) of Mullampara, Manjeri and Krishnaraj (28), a carpenter from Areekode. They’re staff of Mumbai-based CMS Data System. The arrest was made on a criticism by the company. From June to November, 13 ATMs in numerous elements of the district have been full of money.
A portion of the money was transferred to ATMs of SBI, ICICI, IDBI, South Indian Financial institution, Axis, Canara, Financial institution of India and Financial institution of Baroda. The company filed the criticism after the audit discovered a big discrepancy between the quantity allotted and the money deposited within the ATMs.
Police mentioned the accused had been working within the space for 5 years and would look into whether or not there had been any such rip-off up to now. The arrest was led by Malappuram CI Joby Thomas and SIM Admiralty.
