100 FIRs, 6 arrested for pasting posters against PM across Delhi

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police have arrested six males whereas 100 FIRs have been registered in reference to the posters in opposition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi which have been discovered pasted on the partitions and poles within the nationwide capital.

As per sources, police had eliminated over 2,000 posters from a number of elements of the town.

A senior police official stated that 100 FIRs have been registered and 6 folks have been arrested for objectionable posters.

“The FIRs were registered under sections of Printing Press Act and Defacement of Property Act. Police after receiving information also intercepted a van as soon as it left the AAP office. Posters were seized from the van,” stated the official.
