The Governing Council has accepted a Rs 1047 crore undertaking by means of Samagra Shiksha Kerala (SSK) within the public schooling sector for the tutorial 12 months 2022–23 within the state. Public Education Minister V Sivankutty presided.

Within the SSK annual plan, the council accepted a funds of Rs 758.64 crore together with Rs 516.11 crore for main schooling sector, Rs 222.66 crore for secondary sector and Rs 19.56 crore for trainer schooling. Together with this, it has been determined to allocate 288.39 crores of Rs. 500 crores allotted by the World Financial institution to the general public schooling sector of Kerala for tutorial actions in 5 areas by means of SSK.
