1300 Indian SIM cards smuggled into China in two years

Kolkata The Chinese national, who was arrested by the BSF on Thursday from the India-Bangladesh border, has made many sensational revelations in the interrogation. Han Junwe, a 36-year-old Chinese national, said that in the last two years, about 1300 Indian SIM cards have been smuggled to China. Meanwhile, a team of 4 members of Uttar Pradesh ATS has reached Malda in West Bengal. This team will interrogate the accused and take over the investigation of the case. The BSF on Thursday arrested Han Junwe, a resident of Hubei province of China, when he illegally entered India’s border from Bangladesh. After that no valid document was found in the investigation.

Han Junwe’s alleged business partner Sun Jiang was also arrested by the UP Police in the past. Regarding Junwe’s interrogation, BSF DIG SS Guleria said, “During interrogation, Junwe claimed that Jiang has sent 1300 Indian SIM cards to China. These SIMs were received by Junwe and his wife in China. Right now we are investigating why these SIMs were smuggled. Now the investigation of this case is being handed over to the UP ATS. Senior BSF officials have raised doubts that Han Junwe may have links from spy agency to economic crime.
A senior BSF official said that SIM cards from India were sent to China through post or any other person. Further truth will come out only after inquiry and investigation. Han Junwe’s laptop is also being investigated by the agencies. Junway has claimed that it also has a hotel in Gurugram by the name of Star Spring. He says that he has visited India 4 times since 2010 and stayed in Hyderabad, Gurugram and Delhi. Hunway said that its hotel has some Chinese employees and many Indians are also in it.
