Large-scale drug bust at India-Pakistan border BSF seized 27 kg of heroin. It will cost around Rs 135 crore in the international market. A Pakistani smuggler was killed during the operation. The incident took place at Pansar outpost in Katwa district. The smugglers entered Zero Lane and fired after ignoring a warning from security officials. The move was to smuggle one kilogram packet of the drug into India through a pipe. In January, the BSF demolished a tunnel built by Pakistani militants near the same outpost.
