Mumbai: The sixteenth Habitat Movie Pageant goes to start out from May 3 in Delhi. This time, award successful movies like filmmaker Jayant Somalkar's 'Sthal', Atul Sabharwal's espionage drama 'Berlin' shall be screened. Habitat Movie Pageant will run from May 3 to May 12.

40 movies, 10 documentaries and three quick movies shall be screened.
About 40 function movies, 10 documentaries and three quick movies shall be screened on this movie pageant. The pageant may also host retrospectives, workshops, filmmaking grasp courses, panels and movie e book discussions.

Habitat Movie Pageant will begin from 'Sthal'
Habitat Movie Pageant will start with the Marathi movie 'Sthal' (A Match) which received the NETPAC Award on the Toronto Worldwide Movie Pageant. Directed by Jayant Somalkar, the movie was shot within the Vidarbha area with non-professional actors. The movie depicts a younger girl who’s pressured into an organized marriage.

Movies of those languages ​​shall be screened
On the primary day of the movie pageant, Sabharwal's 'Berlin' which stars actors Ishwak Singh and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles may also be screened. Habitat Movie Pageant may also showcase movies from Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Maithili, Santhali, Assamese, Gujarati, Tamil, Oriya, Jaintia, Manipuri, Tulu, Nepali, Bhantu and Garo languages.
