27 lakhs cheated in the name of getting jobs in America.

Kolkata : In the name of getting a job in America, 27 lakh rupees were cheated from a young man. Siddharth Mitra, a resident of Tiljala Road, has lodged a complaint with the Tiljala police station regarding the incident. According to the police, Siddharth stated in his complaint that he had met a man named David de Ranj a few days ago. It is alleged that David described himself as a job provider in the United States. David told Siddharth that he is recognized in many big companies of America. If he wants a job in the United States, David will get him a job. To win Siddharth’s trust, he spoke to his people in America. Also a few months ago showed documents of youths sent by him from India to work in America. David told Siddharth that in order to do a job in America, he would have to pay 27 lakh rupees for various processing fees. Siddhartha gave David 27 lakh rupees for coming to the talk of the fraudster. It is alleged that after giving the money, the fraudster gave him many documents. Upon investigation Siddharth found all to be fake. In such a situation, he filed a complaint at the police station after being a victim of the fraud. Police is currently investigating the case.
