Ponkunnam
Three auto passengers died when a jeep and an autorickshaw collided at Koprakalam junction on the Pala-Ponkunnam street. Two folks have been critically injured. The deceased have been recognized as Anand (24) in Manjankal Tundam, Thitnadu, and Vishnu and Shyamlal, natives of Pallikamto Aruvikkuzhi. Aruvikkuzhi Olikal Abhijith (23) and Ariparamp Kalam Abhijith (18) who have been within the auto have been injured. They have been admitted to Kottayam Medical Faculty Hospital.
The accident occurred at 10.30 pm on Wednesday night time on the Punalur Muvattupuzha freeway. The native residents mentioned that the autorickshaw which was going from Ponkunal to Koorali Bhagat had come in direction of the alternative jeep and hit it within the improper path. The folks within the auto are personal bus staff. The jeep that prompted the accident belongs to a local of Ilangulam. The our bodies of the three are in Kanjirapally General Hospital Mortuary. Ponkunnam police reached the spot.
