Rs 5.89 lakh in money from the accused

Kolkata Police have arrested 4 smugglers with 1.45 kg heroin from Gardenrich Street underneath Watganj police station. The names of the accused are Kausar Shaikh (37), Sudeep Karmakar (31), Jawahar Imam (53) and Nisharaj Bibi (48). Of those, Kausar and Sudeep are residents of Palshipada in Nadia and Jawahar and Nisharaj are residents of Gardenrich. Money of Rs 5.89 lakh has been recovered from the accused.
