The total number of coronavirus cases worldwide has crossed 14.83 crore, while more than 31.3 lakh people have lost their lives due to the disease. Johns Hopkins University has given this information. The University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) revealed in its latest update on Wednesday morning that the current global cases and deaths figures are 148,327,443 and 3,131,250 respectively.
According to CSSE, the United States remains the most affected country with the highest number of 32,173,059 cases and 573,355 deaths in the world. At the same time, India is second with 17,636,307 cases.
