
Petrol and diesel prices were recorded again on Tuesday after two days of stability. In the country’s capital Delhi, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by 35 paise per liter. However, after the VAT cut by the West Bengal government, there has been some relief to consumers in both petrol and diesel prices in Kolkata. On the other hand, crude oil continues to boom in the international market. Brent crude has again gone up to $ 65 a barrel.
According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have gone up to Rs 90.93, Rs 91.12, Rs 97.34 and Rs 92.90 per liter respectively on Tuesday. At the same time, the price of diesel was recorded at Rs 81.32, Rs 84.20, Rs 88.44 and Rs 86.31 per liter in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai respectively.
