Bihar IAS Promotion: On the directions of the Central Division of Personnel and Coaching, 55 newly promoted Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of Bihar Administrative Service have been given promotion. All of the officers have been promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Extra Secretary degree pay scale – Level 12, Pay Scale Rs 78,800- Rs 2,09,200) from the date of becoming a member of. A notification on this regard was issued by the General Administration Division on Monday.
These batched allocations
These officers who obtained promotion have been chosen within the Bihar cadre of IAS. These officers have been allotted the batch of yr 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. In response to the notification issued by Jagdish Kumar, Deputy Secretary of the division, Anil Kumar Jha has been promoted with impact from 15 February 2023, whereas Naresh Jha has been promoted with impact from 14 December 2023. The remaining others have been promoted from December 13, 2023.
