Siliguri: The Siliguri Metropolitan Police is paying particular consideration to the safety of town. Extra 88 new CCTV cameras have been put in at essential locations of town to maintain a watch on town actions around the clock. CCTV cameras shall be monitored from the management room of Siliguri Metropolitan Police. On Thursday, on the event of eleventh Police Rising Day, Commissioner Gaurav Sharma inaugurated these CCTV cameras. Throughout this, Deputy Commissioner of Visitors Division Abhishek Gupta, Deputy Commissioner Jai Tudu, Dr. Kunwar Bhushan Singh, ADCP Purnima Sherpa, ACP Surendra Kumar have been current amongst others.
