Airport can be developed in Darbhanga by spending 916.85 crores. MP Gopalji Thakur met the Chairman of Airport Authority of India Sanjeev Kumar on Wednesday and mentioned about it. Speaking to reporters after this assembly, he mentioned that out of 119.40 crore authorised by the Heart for the event of this airport within the first section, Rs 104 crore has been spent.
The Heart will spend Rs 916.85 crore to develop a civil enclave at Darbhanga airport on par with a global airport. The Airport Authority of India has constructed a civil enclave on 2.3 acres of land obtained on lease from the Indian Air Force. The development of recent terminal constructing is happening at a price of 36 crores on 2.42 acres.
Cat II lighting system to be put in on newly transferred 23.75 acres of land to scale back cancellation of flights in low visibility. Alternatively, a plan is being ready for the proposed works of everlasting terminal constructing, six bay apron, residential quarter, automobile parking, street and so forth. on 54.65 acres of land.
