Former India wrestler Vinesh Phogat has accused Indian Olympic Affiliation (IOA) president PT Usha of not offering sufficient help after her huge defeat on the Paris Olympics 2024.
Phogat mentioned in an interview to AAA Media- “I don't know what support I got there. PT Usha madam visited me in the hospital. Clicked a photo.. As you said, a lot happens behind closed doors in politics. Similarly, there was politics there (in Paris). So I was heartbroken. Otherwise, many people are saying 'don't quit wrestling'. Why should I continue! There is politics everywhere,”.
He additional said- “You’re on a hospital mattress, the place you don't know what is going on exterior, you’re going by way of the worst part of your life. At that place, simply to indicate everybody that you just stand with me, you take photographs with out telling me, then posting them on social media and saying we stand collectively. This isn’t the way you present help. What else was this (hypocrisy)!
