The central authorities has claimed that China was the epicenter of the cyber assault that broke into Delhi’s AIIMS hospital servers and leaked data. A cyber assault on November 23 disrupted hospital operations. AIIMS has 40 bodily servers and 60 digital servers. Hackers infiltrated 5 bodily servers and stole data. The Ministry of Health additionally claimed to have recovered this data.
The media had reported that the hackers who leaked the info of 4 crore people, together with VVIPs like former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and former Union Ministers, had demanded Rs 200 crore.
