Akshar Patel is the star; Half centuries for Shreyas and Sanju

Port of Spain: Akshar Patel’s one-man fightback gave India an exciting two-wicket victory within the second ODI in opposition to West Indies. Chasing the goal of 312 runs set by the West Indies by batting first, at one stage India have been reeling at 205 for 5 in 38.4 overs and Akshar Patel led the crew to victory with two balls and two wickets to spare. Aksar’s unbeaten 64 off 35 balls together with 5 sixes and three fours snatched victory from the West Indies. Rating: Windies 311 for six in 50 overs. India: 312 for 8 in 49.4 overs. Akshar Patel is the person of the match.

Batting first, West Indies scored an excellent rating of 311 on the power of Shai Hope’s good century (115 off 135 balls) and Nicholas Pooran’s (74). Kyle Meyers scored 39 and Brooks scored 35. Shardul Thakur took three wickets for India.
