The central government has announced to open all the monuments of the country from June 16. The monuments were closed from 15 April due to the increasing infection of Corona. These restrictions were in place till 15 May. But later it was extended till 31 May.

Giving information about this on his official Twitter handle, Union Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Prahlad Singh Patel said that today the Ministry of Tourism has given approval to duly open all the monuments from 16 June 2021. Tourists can visit the monuments following the Corona rules.
Significantly, the second wave of corona virus infection is now under control. The new case has decreased by 30%. During the last 24 hours, more than 70 thousand new cases of corona have been found across the country. Although the number of deaths is still around 4 thousand per day.
