
Srinagar. The Amarnath Yatra on Pahalgam and Baltal routes has been quickly suspended within the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir as a result of inclement climate on Tuesday morning. The 43-day pilgrimage to the Him Shiva Linga started final week.
Officers stated that no pilgrim is being allowed to go in direction of the holy cave from Nunwan in Pahalgam and Baltal base camp in Ganderbal. Since June 30, round 71,000 pilgrims have visited the Him Shiva Linga within the holy cave. Amarnath Yatra will finish on August 11.
In the meantime, reasonable rains occurred at many locations in Jammu and Kashmir at present. Based on the Meteorological Division, there’s a chance of sunshine to reasonable rain at many locations within the subsequent 24 to 36 hours. The yatra route is prone to be largely cloudy at present.
