Amit Shah followed through, CAA was implemented in the country; The Center issued the first set of citizenship certificates to 14 people

New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs distributed the primary set of citizenship certificates below the Citizenship Modification Act on Wednesday. As we speak, 300 persons are being granted citizenship below CAA in Delhi itself. Home Minister Amit Shah advised ANI that CAA is the legislation of the land.

Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla has handed over citizenship certificates to the primary 14 folks in New Delhi after processing the purposes on-line via the designated portal, an official spokesperson mentioned.
