Lucknow | Uttar Pradesh’s Particular Activity Force (STF) arrested three individuals allegedly concerned in drug smuggling from Prayagraj district late on Tuesday night time and recovered narcotics value Rs 2.25 crore from them. The police gave this data on Wednesday. Officers mentioned that the police acquired data from the informer that some individuals had been going someplace with a consignment of narcotics in a truck. On this data, the police arrested Anoop Kumar Mishra, Pawan Kumar Singh and Harikant Singh from Garha Bazar in Koraon space at round 2.30 pm on Tuesday night time.
Other than a truck, the STF recovered 9.29 quintals of ganja, faux payments, money, bank cards and debit playing cards from their possession. Throughout interrogation, Anoop Mishra instructed the STF that he had an organized gang for drug smuggling and they might have introduced ganja from Andhra Pradesh and bought it at excessive costs in Prayagraj, Mirzapur and Madhya Pradesh.
The accused mentioned that the chief of their gang is Rakesh Singh of Madhya Pradesh who used to stay in Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh.
Police is investigating the matter intimately.
