Arunachal Police bust militant camp along Myanmar border

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Police, in its first main solo operation, busted a camp of the Japanese Naga Nationwide Authorities (ENNG) rebel group at Lungpang village in Changlang District alongside India-Myanmar border, a police official stated.

The official stated that after few months of shut vigil and meticulous monitoring, a police staff, led by Superintendent of Police, State Process Force Rohit Rajbir Singh and Changlang Superintendent of Police Mihin Gambo busted the ENNG militant camp in a forested bordering space of ​​Rima Putok Circle within the district.

Nevertheless, sensing the police operation the underground cadres had been reported to have fled the camp. Police recovered an AK 47 rifle, an M-16 rifle, a hand grenade, six magazines, a big cache of ammunition and incriminating paperwork from the location. Later, the camp was burnt down by the police.
