Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday refuted claims by the opposition, All Assam College students Union (AASU) and different organizations that the state will see an inflow of foreigners after the implementation of the Citizenship (Modification) Act (CAA). ,

CM Sarma informed reporters, “I guarantee that not a single one that has not beforehand utilized for registration within the Nationwide Register of Residents (NRC) will apply for citizenship beneath the CAA.
