Ban on broadband internet lifted in five districts of Manipur, government had shut it down amid tense situation

Three days after imposing a short lived ban on all Web providers in 5 districts of the Imphal Valley, the Manipur authorities has lifted the ban on broadband providers on success of a number of phrases and situations, officers stated on Friday.

Commissioner (Home) N. Ashok Kumar stated in a notification, “The state government has decided to liberally lift the ban on broadband service (ILL and FTTH), subject to the fulfillment of terms and conditions.”
