BBC Modi documentary: Jamia SFI secretary and activists arrested

New Delhi: Delhi Police arrested SFI unit secretary Aziz Sharif and activists of Jamia Millia Islamia University. SFI South Delhi Space Vice President Nivedya, Abhiram and Tejas have additionally been arrested.

The motion comes whereas the BBC documentary India: The Modi Query is about to be screened. The documentary was scheduled to be screened at 6 am in the present day. Aziz was taken to the Sukhdev Vihar police station. Nivedya was crushed up by the safety guards

The college authorities had earlier banned the exhibition. The scholars had knowledgeable that they’d show it in violation of the ban. Then the arrest befell.

The BBC documentary ‘India: The Modi Query’, which exposes Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s position within the Gujarat Genocide, was banned by Gakarandam, and organizations together with SFI and DVEFI have been planning to display it in public. The documentary was screened in lots of campuses in Kerala yesterday.
