BDJS ready to leave NDA;

Kollam
The general opinion at the BDJS state council meeting was that the NDA should not continue to be neglected. The meeting directed state president Thushar Vellapally to take appropriate action. The final decision will be taken at the State Council meeting on the 15th. It also decided to appoint a three-member committee to probe the defeat of BDJS candidates in the Assembly elections. The committee report should be submitted within fifteen days.

The report will be communicated to the BJP central leadership. It was also decided to demand organizational action against the main coordinators and constituency coordinators of the Front who had failed in their activities. Thushar Vellapally presided over the state council meeting held in Kollam on Wednesday. The BJP has fielded BDJS candidates in the Assembly elections as well as in the local body elections.

The party district presidents told the council meeting that no BJP leaders had come for the function. BDJS was completely ignored in preparing the manifesto. It was also alleged that BDJS was deliberately excluded from NDA election advertisements.
