Jalpaiguri: Excessive fever continues to wreak havoc in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. Round 140 kids have been admitted to Jalpaiguri Sadar Hospital with complaints of excessive fever and dysentery. The kids’s blood samples have been despatched to Kolkata and a workforce of specialist docs from Kolkata has reached Jalpaiguri. Two of the ailing kids have been later shifted to the North Bengal Medical School as their situation deteriorated, a well being division official stated. The incident comes amid warnings from consultants that the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic might be a larger threat for youngsters.
