Kolkata : Shocking news has come out from West Bengal. Some women in the state have spoken of being gang-raped during the violence that took place after the assembly elections. In this case, women have approached the Supreme Court for justice. The women have accused Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers of gang-rape during the violence. Let us tell you, there is a TMC government in the state and the victims do not expect to get justice from the state government, so they have approached the Supreme Court for justice. The victims have demanded a SIT probe into the incidents of gangrape and violence in Bengal under the supervision of the Supreme Court, citing the action taken by the Supreme Court after the Godhra incident in the Supreme Court.

60 year of elderly from woman gang rape
A 60-year-old elderly woman is also among the petitioner women. He told that after the results of the assembly elections were announced, five workers of the ruling Trinamool barged into his house in East Medinipur and gang-raped him in front of his 6-year-old grandson. According to the woman, in this incident that happened late night between May 4 and 5, they also robbed all the valuables of the house. The woman, in her petition in the Supreme Court, told that despite the BJP winning the Khejuri assembly seat, a mob of 100 to 200 TMC workers surrounded her house on May 3. During the violence, the mob also threatened to blow up his house with a bomb. After this incident, his daughter-in-law left the house the very next day.

The elderly woman told in the petition that the neighbors found her unconscious the next day and admitted to the hospital. He said that when his son-in-law tried to lodge a complaint with the police, the police ignored the matter. The victim told the court that TMC workers were using rape as a weapon to take revenge. Apart from the elderly woman, a 17-year-old minor girl from the Scheduled Tribes has also approached the Supreme Court to get justice in the gang rape case. The victim has demanded from the Supreme Court that the incident of gangrape with TMC workers and the alleged inaction of the police in the cases be probed by the SIT or CBI. The women have also demanded that the trial of the case be held out of the city.
