With the onset of monsoon amidst the second wave of the corona virus epidemic, swine flu has also knocked in Kolkata. In the last few days, 19 residents of Kolkata have been admitted to various hospitals in the city after contracting swine flu. The good news of relief is that 13 of these have also been cured. Doctors often heave a sigh of relief when corona results are negative despite symptoms, but it turns out that the patient may be infected with swine flu. In such a situation, doctors need to be aware. West Bengal Medical Council member Dr. PK Nemani said that fever, runny nose, sore throat, dry cough with cough, headache as well as muscle pain, diarrhea can also be symptoms of swine flu. As a result, swine flu is similar in all symptoms to corona. If such symptoms persist for more than three days, then the doctor should first check for corona. He also suggested that if symptoms persist despite negative results of corona test, necessary tests should be done to diagnose swine flu.
