Bihar: 57.25 percent voting in by-election on Rupauli assembly seat, violence at a polling station, one policeman injured

Within the by-election held on Wednesday in Rupauli meeting seat of Bihar, 57.25 % voters exercised their franchise. Throughout this, two policemen together with an officer had been injured in a mob assault on the police crew.

Based on a launch from the workplace of the Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar, until 6 pm, out of a complete of three,13,664 voters, 57.25 % exercised their franchise.

Voting started at 7 a.m. and concluded at 6 p.m. Throughout voting, a complete of 12 complaints had been obtained within the departmental management room, which had been resolved on time.
