In Bihar, the primary section of polling, 71 constituencies, witnessed 53.46 per cent polling until 6 pm on Wednesday. Turnout was 54.94 per cent within the 2015 Meeting elections and 53.54 per cent within the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The second section of polling for 94 constituencies can be held on November 3. To the remaining 78 seats – November 7. The vote can be counted on November 10.
Union Minister Giriraj Singh Lakhisara and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi Gaya solid their votes. Manji is the HAM chief of the NDA faction. The RJD received 27 seats within the first spherical of polling within the final election. The JDU received 18 seats, the BJP 13 seats, the Congress 9 seats and others 4 seats.
