Bilquis Banu case: CPI(M)’s plea against commutation of sentence to be heard soon

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Courtroom will hear the petitions difficult the Gujarat authorities’s determination to commute the punishment of the accused within the Bilkis Banu case. CPI-M politburo member Subhashini Ali, Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra, journalist Revathi Laul and activist Roop Rekha Verma filed the petition questioning the motion of the Gujarat authorities.
