BJP's intention is to end reservation, SC-ST are being attacked by calling them creamy layer: Kharge

Kharge alleged that BJP intends to finish reservation.

He mentioned, “Today, government jobs and reservation are being abolished by handing over public sector undertakings to private hands. On one hand, there are lakhs of government jobs in the country, in which recruitments are not being done, on the other hand, you are crushing the Dalit society by bringing in the creamy layer. I oppose this.”

Based on the Congress President, within the problem of ST-ST that has been raised, the Dalits and the disadvantaged haven’t been thought of.

He mentioned, “As long as there is untouchability in this country, reservation should and will remain. We will keep fighting for it. My appeal is that everyone should not recognize this creamy layer decision. Even today there are some villages in Karnataka where people are not allowed to enter. As long as such things are going on in the country, you cannot end reservation.”
