Shahzad Poonawalla reminded Musharraf’s speech before the Lok Sabha elections 2019, in which Musharraf had expressed his desire for Rahul Gandhi to become the Prime Minister of India. In an interview to a Tamil news channel in 2019, Musharraf had said that he would like to see Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister of India. Shahzad Poonawala wrote in another tweet that, once upon a time, Musharraf had praised Rahul Gandhi as a gentleman, maybe this is the reason why Congress is liking Musharraf so much??
