Brahma Kumar appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Zimbabwe

New Delhi: Bramha Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA), has been appointed as the following Ambassador of India to Zimbabwe.

Brahma Kumar, a 2005 batch Indian International Service officer, is anticipated to take cost quickly, the Ministry of Exterior Affairs stated in a press release on Tuesday.

“Brahma Kumar (IFS: 2005), presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Zimbabwe. He is expected to assume charge shortly,” the assertion stated.

He succeeds Vijay Khanduja, who was appointed Ambassador on November 9, 2020.

Khanduja beforehand served in varied positions within the Ministry of Exterior Affairs, together with Director (United Nations Financial and Social Division).
