
MUMBAI: The rupee on Monday fell 26 paise to 76.10 towards the US forex in early commerce on Monday on account of an increase in crude oil costs and a strengthening US greenback.
Within the interbank overseas change market, the rupee opened at 76.08 towards the US greenback, then it additional declined to 76.10, exhibiting a decline of 26 paise towards the earlier closing value. The rupee on Thursday confirmed an increase of 37 paise towards the US greenback. Closed at Rs 75.84 per greenback.
In the meantime, the greenback index, reflecting the US greenback’s place towards the six main currencies, rose 0.08 per cent to 98.31 stage. World oil benchmark Brent crude futures had been up 3.10 per cent at USD 111.28 per barrel.
