
New Delhi: The Samajwadi Party (SP) has overtaken the BJP within the by-elections to 2 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh. Elections shall be held in Azamgarh and Rampur Lok Sabha constituencies, which have been vacated by Akhilesh Yadav and Mohammad Azam Khan.
The Shiromani Akali Dal is main in Sangrur, the AAP’s seat in Punjab. The by-polls within the constituency are being held following the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann MP. Following the Lok Sabha by-elections, the counting of votes for 7 seats in numerous Meeting constituencies can be in progress.
In Tripura, by-polls shall be held in 4 constituencies – Agartala, Jubraj Nagar, Surma and City Bardowali. Rajinder Nagar in Delhi, Mander in Ranchi district of Jharkhand and Atmakuru in Andhra Pradesh have been the opposite constituencies the place by-elections have been held.
