Cabinet Decision: Third satellite launch pad will be built in Sriharikota at a cost of Rs 3985 crore, space programs will get new momentum

Cupboard Determination: On Thursday (January 16), the Union Cupboard has taken a giant determination for the house sector. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav mentioned that the Union Cupboard has accredited the development of the third launch pad in Sri Harikota. The Union Minister mentioned that the price of this mission shall be Rs 3,985 crore. It’s estimated to be accomplished in 48 months. At current there are 2 launch pads in Sriharikota. Based on the Union Minister, the brand new launch pad can have extra capability than these two launch pads. Other than the third launch pad, the Union Cupboard on Thursday took a significant determination and accredited the formation of the eighth Pay Fee for revising the salaries of central staff and allowances of pensioners. Data and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav mentioned that the choice to represent the eighth Pay Fee has been taken within the Cupboard assembly chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, the seventh Pay Fee was constituted in 2016 and its tenure is ending in 2026. Vaishnav mentioned that the chairman and two members of the fee shall be appointed quickly.
