CBI raids the residence of Trinamool leader Mahua Moitra's father in South Kolkata.

Kolkata: The CBI crew is raiding the residence of DL Moitra, father of Trinamool Congress chief Mahua Moitra, in South Kolkata since Saturday morning.

Earlier, Mahua Moitra was expelled from the Lok Sabha in reference to the alleged money for question rip-off.

The Trinamool Congress has re-nominated Moitra from Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency in Nadia district, from the place she was elected in 2019.

Sources stated CBI officers reached the residential flat of businessman DL Moitra in a residential complicated named 'Ratnabali' in New Alipore space of ​​South Kolkata.
