Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Division has forecast heavy rains within the state tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Orange alert was declared in six districts of Central and South Kerala on Saturday and in 5 districts on Sunday.
The meteorological division has forecast new low strain within the Bay of Bengal tomorrow. The Central Meteorological Division has warned that the low strain space within the southern Andaman Sea will intensify within the subsequent 48 hours. In consequence, the Kerala Meteorological Division is forecasting heavy rains within the coming days.
Excessive ranges of flood hazard have been introduced in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Idukki districts on Saturday. On Sunday, an orange alert was declared in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki districts. Right now, yellow alert has been issued all over the place besides Kannur, Wayanad and Kozhikode districts. Rain is forecast to proceed within the state until Tuesday.
