chhattisgarh: Three CRPF personnel injured in firing by Naxalites

Raipur | In Chhattisgarh’s Naxal-affected Sukma district, Maoists opened fireplace at a not too long ago constructed camp of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Three CRPF personnel have been injured on this incident. A senior official gave this data on Monday. Inspector General of Police (Bastar Vary) Sundarraj P advised PTI {that a} group of Maoists began firing round Elmagunda camp in Chitagufa police station space round 6 am, following which the safety forces deployed there retaliated.

He stated that Havildar Hemant Chaudhary, constable Basappa and Lalit Bagh of CRPF’s 2nd Battalion have been injured within the incident. The IGP stated that the Naxalites fled from there after the firing. The search has been began for the attacking Naxalites. After the incident, different jawans and officers current within the camp took the injured jawans to the hospital, the official stated. The jawans are being handled and their situation is steady.

He stated that the Elmagunda camp has been established someday again. This camp is about 12 km from Chitagufa police station. On the identical time, there may be one other CRPF camp in Meenpa village, six kilometers away from this camp.
