Chowalloor Krishnankutty passed away

Author, journalist and filmmaker Chowalloor Krishnankutty (86) has handed away. Amala was handled on the hospital. The top was at 10.45 pm on Sunday evening. He’s greatest referred to as a devotional songwriter. He was staying at ‘Anugraham’ home in Chowalloor. Funeral Monday.

Educated at Iringapuram Makunni Memorial College, Mattam St. Francis Excessive College and Sreekerala Varma Faculty, Thrissur. He began his profession as a sub-editor of Navajeevan newspaper run by Joseph Mundasseri in 1959. In 1963, he grew to become the editor of Swathanthramandapam, a newspaper printed from Guruvayur. In 1966 he joined the Kozhikode unit of Malayala Manorama as Sub Editor. In 2004, Assoc. Retired as editor.

For his efficiency within the film “Maram” directed by Yusufali Kecheri. He wrote the tune “Swapnadanam Njan Thudarunnu” for the movie Thulavarsham. He has composed movie songs, radio performs and over 3500 devotional songs.

He wrote the dialogue for the movie Sargam. He wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movies Prabhathasandhya and Sriragam. The script and dialogues of Karpuradeepam and Shashinas are by Chowalloor. Chowalloor has gained many awards, together with the Mukundaraja Smriti and Jnanappana of the Kerala Kalamandalam.
