CJI NV Ramana’s big statement, said- media trials and attacks on judicial officers are new threats to the judiciary

He drew consideration to the media trials, saying that they can’t be the driving power within the willpower of circumstances.

Justice Ramana noticed, “What is affecting the independence and functioning of the judiciary the most is the increasing cases of media trials. The new media media have the ability to exaggerate things but they are right and wrong, good or bad. seem incapable of distinguishing between bad, real or fake. Media trials cannot be a driving force in the determination of cases of any kind.”
