Kochi: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan supplied condolences on the dying of VP Ramachandran, a senior journalist and former editor of Mathrubhumi. VP Ramachandran handed away at his residence in Kakkanad, Kochi. He was the previous chairman of the Kerala Press Academy. He was a UNI correspondent for a very long time. He has received the Swadeshabhimani Kesari Award. He was referred to as VPR for brief.
