Congress does not have the courage to declare Rahul Gandhi as PM candidate: Prahlad Joshi

Hubli, (Karnataka): Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Wednesday hit out on the Gandhi household and mentioned that after ruling the nation for 60 years, the household remains to be on the lookout for a candidate for the submit of Prime Minister.

He alleged, “Congress does not have the courage to declare Rahul Gandhi as the prime ministerial candidate.”

Addressing a gathering in Dharwad, Joshi claimed that the get together wouldn’t get votes if Rahul Gandhi was declared the prime ministerial candidate.

“There’s a big distinction between the sooner Gandhism and the current Gandhism. There is no such thing as a Prime Ministerial candidate in immediately's 'Gandhi Firm'.

“Congress does not care about the security of the country. The party gives importance only to power, vote bank and appeasement. They should think about strengthening the country with better defense policies and economic policies,” he mentioned.

“Ever since Narendra Modi turned PM, India is changing into stronger. It has proved its power on the world stage. Economically it has made a leap and can also be on the forefront by way of growth. Joshi claimed, globally the nation is recognized as Modi's India.

“During its 60 years of rule, Congress constructed 60,000 kilometers of national highways. But, late PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee constructed 30,000 kilometers of national highways in five years. Prime Minister Modi built 60,000 kilometers of highways in 10 years. This includes four-lane, six-lane, eight-lane and 10-lane highways,” Joshi claimed.

Joshi mentioned, “Prime Minister Modi is striving for the welfare of people of all sections and has implemented many schemes for poverty alleviation.”
