Congress MLAs withdraw their resignations in Rajasthan

In Rajasthan, Congress MLAs who had handed over their resignations to the Speaker in help of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot have hurriedly withdrawn them. The MLAs’ push to withdraw the letter comes because the Rajasthan Excessive Court docket is listening to a public curiosity petition on Monday questioning the Speaker’s failure to take motion on the MLAs’ resignations even after three months. On September 25, 91 Congress MLAs met Speaker CP Joshi and submitted their resignations in protest towards the Excessive Command’s transfer to make Sachin Pilot the Chief Minister.

The Excessive Command’s plan was to switch Gehlot because the Congress President and make Pilot the Chief Minister. Nevertheless, as a result of surprising transfer of the Gelot MLAs, the Excessive Command withdrew. With this, the resignation letter remained within the fingers of the Speaker. Opposition Deputy Leader Rajendra Rathore approached the courtroom questioning Raji’s failure to think about the Speaker. The MLAs are coming in droves to withdraw their resignations when the case is to be heard once more on Monday.
