Corona havoc: 150 districts of the country may face lockdown, central government is considering

Internet desk. Corona virus has become a major problem for the country. In India, 1,79,88,637 people have been infected with corona. While 2,01,165 people have lost their lives.

In view of the fast growing corona infection, the central government may impose a lockdown in the 150 most affected districts of the country. According to reports, the Modi government is considering imposing a lockdown in the districts where the infection rate is more than 15 percent.

However, the decision of the Central Government in this regard will be taken only after consultation with the states concerned. A lockdown has been recommended by the Union Health Ministry in a high-level meeting tomorrow.

The Union Health Ministry, on its part, proposed that 150 districts in the country with an infection rate of more than 15 percent would have to impose lockdown with relaxation in essential services, otherwise the burden on the health system would increase.

PM Modi has also described the lockdown as the last resort to prevent infection. These days, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi Karnataka, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Rajasthan are reporting the highest number of corona virus cases.
