Corona’s havoc! 60-hour lockdown in Madhya Pradesh, hostels closed indefinitely in Bhopal

The government has taken a big decision amid increasing cases of corona virus in Madhya Pradesh. There will be a lockdown in all the urban areas of the state from 6 pm Friday to 6 am Monday. The lockdown will be for 60 hours. This decision was taken by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan after a meeting with the officials on Thursday morning. CM Shivraj said that my intention has never been to lockdown. A day before this, night curfew was imposed in the urban areas of the state.

Bhopal’s capital Bhopal is constantly taking precautionary measures to prevent the rising infection of the corona. In view of this, all the hostels have been closed indefinitely. Bhopal District Collector Avinash Lavania has directed the hostel superintendents of the government junior, senior colleges of the district to keep the departmental hostels closed for the prevention and prevention of corona virus infection till further orders.

It is noteworthy that the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department has instructed to discontinue teaching in all the schools and colleges of Bhopal city till April 15 and the Department of Higher Education for the undergraduate, postgraduate university examinations (for the year 2020-21). The month will be in May, June 2021.
