New Delhi > CBI investigation in opposition to former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. The CBI has initiated a reinvestigation in opposition to Lalu Prasad and his relations within the railway mission rip-off case.
Lalu Prasad, who was the railway minister through the first UPA authorities, was accused of huge corruption. The CBI carried out a preliminary investigation into the allegation in 2018, however the investigation was closed in 2021.
The investigation was concluded in May 2021. Aside from Yadav, his son and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav, Chanda Yadav and Ragini Yadav are additionally accused within the case.
